Probiotics: Dynamic Immunity Protection

Home / General Health / Probiotics: Dynamic Immunity Protection

According to Harvard Medical School’s, Family Health Guide, your body contains over 100 trillion bacteria.  And these bacteria line our GALT (gut associated lymphoid tissue). And are found in all the organs of the digestive structure. They make up roughly 70 percent of the body’s immunity system.  Probiotics provide dynamic immunity protection.

Probiotics are live microorganisms that make you healthy when you consume them. They are beneficial bacteria for your brain and body. They improve digestive health, promote heart health and reduce depression. And they are good for your skin, too.

The immunity system protects from disease and illness.   We get sick when the immunity system is not working well.

More information about the role of probiotics is being revealed through medical research.  But we know that they are vital to health. They aid the immune system through activity in the GALT . Probiotics strengthen GALT tissue. And kills the toxins that live there.

Bacteria is Not All Bad

Medical research is still underway. We are learning how the body develops and maintains immunity. But the alternative medical community has known this for a long time.

Naturally occurring bacteria are not really bad bacteria or germs. They are introduced to the body, through our diet. And often perform valuable services, to the intestinal tract and immune system.  Bacteria is really only harmful when it multiplies too fast. Or if it travels to other parts of your body.

Probiotics are live active cultures of “good” bacteria. They keep the bacteria in your body from going bad.

There are over 100 species of these “good bacteria”.  For example, probiotics, which naturally occur, in yogurt, are beneficial to the immunity system.

In some instances, probiotics kill “bad” bacteria. Then help to digest nutrients and synthesize vitamins.

They aid the immune system through activity in the GALT . Probiotics strengthens GALT tissue. And this makes it harder for toxins to live there.

They kick-start the immunity organisms. And can boost your resistance to colds and the flu.  Probiotics have amazing benefits in treating irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and irritable bowel disease (IBD) and ulcers.

Probiotics in Alternative Medicine

All data suggests that taking probiotics is beneficial. They shorten the duration of diarrhea (especially after a round of antibiotics). And can reduce certain infections.

Alternative medicine is already convinced that they work.  Alternative healers use probiotics.

Getting probiotics in the form of supplements is common. But you can also find them in fermented foods. They live in yogurt, health supplements, in milk, cheese and cereals.  And additional  products are appearing daily in grocery stores and health food stores.

Probiotics Work In a Multitude of Ways

  • Create vitamins. For instance, Lactobacillus acidophilus makes Vitamin K.  And lactic acid bacteria develops B-complex vitamins. And enteric bacteria creates Vitamin B-12.
  • Break down complex compounds. And this allows the body to more easily absorb them.  The digested nutrients are more effective.
  • They activate and increase white blood cells (T-cells).
  • T-cells help the immune system to respond to harmful bacteria.
