Well, some might call it a playful addition to the video game, while the more serious, over-analyzing types will call it the effects of shrooms. There are certain types of mushrooms, which are commonly known as magic mushrooms or simply shrooms, which have certain psychedelic properties that take the users on a ‘trip’. Effects of Mushrooms
Mushrooms belong to the Psilocybe genus. There are over 150 different types of mushrooms, which have psychedelic properties in them. The two most commonly found psychedelics in mushrooms are psilocybin or psilocin. These mushrooms, when ingested in excessive quantities, can have effects on the body and mind of the person. Some of these effects are hallucinations, acute anxiety, paranoia, and other similar experiences. Psilocybin Mushrooms Drug Test

Also, in case of underage drug abuse, a test for intake of mushrooms is taken. Testing for mushrooms is done with a basic urine test. An interesting fact is that though this test is not generally taken very often, it is a relatively easy test to take and a rather difficult one to pass. That is because, once you intake magic mushrooms, raw or dried, the psilocybin gets quickly converted into psilocin, since it not fat-soluble. Within eight to nine hours, the psilocybin, which has the psychedelic properties will leave the user’s system. However, its traces remain in the body for as long as a week. Hence, if one needs to pass a mushrooms drug test, he or she needs to ensure that they have not consumed these magic mushrooms for at least seven days prior to the test. They cannot take for granted that since it is not a standard drug, mushrooms will not be tested for.
Apart from the physical effects, the effects of shrooms on the brain after a ‘bad trip’ can be quite devastating to the user. They may come back to him in what is called a ‘flashback’.
