► One such item is raw papaya. Take a raw papaya and peel it. Chop it into small pieces and grind them. Apply a layer of this papaya pack on your scalp. Leave it on for about half an hour. Wash it off with a good quality mild shampoo. Do it every alternate day.
► Another item that may prove to be of some use is mustard seeds. Take a cup of mustard seeds, and grind them to make a paste. Wash your hair with lukewarm water. Apply the paste of mustard seeds on your scalp. Leave it on your scalp for about 20 – 30 minutes. Wash it off with a mild shampoo.
► Take 2 – 3 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds and soak it in water for about 9 hours. Drain the seeds from water and grind seeds into a fine paste. Apply it all over your scalp. Leave it for an hour. Wash the application off with a mild shampoo.
► You can make use of a few essential oils to improve the condition of your affected scalp. They include rosemary, tea tree, neem, lavender and jojoba oil. Before using any of the oil consult a herbalist to avoid adverse reactions.
